Machine Therapy

Machine Therapy for Pain Relief and More!

Do you have chronic  pain that just won't go away? Always feel like you have an achy and sore stiff back?  Injured a body part in an accident, exercising, or just bending down? Feel like chiropractic adjustments and physical therapy haven't given you the pain relief you need?  Our office has the answer for you.  We have three of the latest technology devices that are FDA approved  by Zimmer MedizinSystems to treat acute and chronic soft tissue pain.  We offer:

Radial pulse therapy

Hot Laser therapy

High Energy Inductive Therapy

What is Radial Pulse Therapy?

A Radial pulse therapy machine takes kinetic energy, turns  it into  impact energy and through the use of an applicator head delivers radial pulses to the target tissue. These radial pulses go much deeper into the tissue than other tradition soft tissue therapy techniques can and increases blood circulation, loosen scar tissue, and stimulate damaged tissue to heal. It has been clinically proven to treat chronic foot, heel, and ankle pain.

radial pulse

Common conditions radial pulse therapy treats:

Tennis elbow

Golfers elbow

Tendinitis of the rotator cuff, hip, elbow, wrist, knee, and ankle

Plantar Fasciitis

Chronic and acute pain from muscle, tendon, and other soft tissue injuries

Why use Radial Pulse Therapy?

Radial pulse therapy is  clinically proven to speed up the healing process of muscles, tendons, and other soft tissues. Conditions that may require months of physical therapy can be treated with 5-10 sessions  of radial pulse therapy. A patient should notice immediate  pain relief after their first session, and will notice substantial pain relief and healing over the course of their treatment. The best part is that each session is only 5 minutes, is non-invasive, and you can return to your daily activities directly after.

What is Hot Laser Therapy?

Hot laser therapy is a practice that uses light therapy to trigger biochemical reactions within body cells. It emits up to 25 watts of high intensity light into the tissue stimulating sustained, temporary relief. The machine operates at three wavelengths: 810nm, 980nm, and 1064nm. These high wavelengths insure that the light is able to penetrate the deep layers of the tissue and increase the thermal effect in the deepest layers. This thermal effect boost the body's  immune response, reduces inflammation, and stimulates the growth of healthy tissue and promotes healing of injured tissue.  The heat can also penetrate and help dissolve knots in the muscle tissue that other traditional therapies can not.

Common conditions hot laser therapy treats:

laser

Fibromyalgia

Arthritis (including facet joint syndrome, osteoarthritis, spinal stenosis)

Osteoarthritis

Rheumatoid arthritis

Peripheral neuropathy

Sciatica

Tendinitis of the rotator cuff, hip, elbow, wrist, knee, and ankle

Joint pain

Muscle knots

Carpal tunnel syndrome

TMJ syndrome

Why use Hot Laser Therapy?

Hot laser therapy penetrates deep inside the tissue, making it one of the most effective modalities to treat pain at its source.  A series of treatments will be  recommended depending on the type of condition or pain, the severity, and the longevity of the condition or pain.  The sessions are quick at 5-10 minutes and there is no recovery time. During your session you  will feel a warmth sensation where the laser therapy is focused and it may promote relaxation. Laser therapy is a drug-free and non-invasive process to reduce inflammation, relieve pain, and restore range of motion. Patients who undergo regular laser therapy sessions often report an increase in wellness and improved quality of life.

What is High Energy Inductive Therapy?

High Energy Inductive Therapy (HEIT) uses electromagnetic fields to penetrate the membrane of a cell  to increase it's energy and improve its function.  Our cells have energy and a charge. When a cell is diseased, damaged, or aged, its charge is low meaning that it doesn't have enough energy to preform its normal function. High Energy inductive therapy uses electromagnetic stimulation to the area where the cells are damaged or diseased to increase their cellular energy which revitalizes the cells so they can function properly. HEIT generates a magnetic field of up to 3 Tesla, about 600 times stronger than the field of a normal magnet, to stimulate healing of nerves, muscles and blood vessels. Areas where you have chronic pain or degeneration typically have cells that are injured or diseased which is why you are experiencing pain . By activating the electrochemistry of the area of pain, you are improving the cell membrane and cell function which can reduce pain and stimulate healing.

What is High Energy Inductive Therapy Used For:

emfield

Relaxation of muscle spasms

Increase local blood circulation to injured area

Increase range of motion

Help reintroduce muscle use after prolonged injury or surgery

Prevention of muscle atrophy

Releasing of deep and tight muscle tissue

Stimulate nerves for peripheral neuropathy

Why use High Energy Inductive Therapy?

High energy Inductive Therapy is one the most effective  and cutting-edge non-invasive modalities for treating pain on the market.  The machine uses a non-invasive handheld device that penetrates through clothing to  deliver electromagnetic fields to the site of pain or dysfunction.  Our machine offers static or dynamic  treatment depending on the patient's condition. Static treatment is used for pain points and trigger point therapy while dynamic treatment is used for treating generalized areas of pain. Often times, your treatment while contain both static and dynamic treatments  to make all areas of pain are being addressed.  Treatments are usually given in a series of 10-20 visits depending on the condition being treated with session times ranging from 10-20 minutes.  There should be a significant notice of relief  in your area of concern after your sessions, which great improvement over time.
